So my friend Ferentz Lafargue and another author, Abiola Abrams, held a benefit for Aqa who was diagnosed with breast cancer. i didn’t know anything about her except that she was a mother of three and that my friend was moved enough to set up a function at Frank White in Brooklyn. So I went last Thursday after a photo gallery opening and was surprised to see a real communal event where everyone seemed to care and was enjoying the vibe including the Frank White people.
