Strobes, Shooting and Building Keeps the Creative Slump Away

My coworker (pictured below) Joey and I have become collaborators working on shoots (his for now) that our place of employment has made easy with some of its benefits. While I took lighting out this weekend for my own shoot for a musician I know and his talented stable of folks on Saturday, I helped out Joey with another emerging visual artist for some beauty shots.   These shoots have been a great refresher/learning course for me. Joey is ten years my junior and has a much better sense of artificial lighting than me.

This is a test shot I took of the model below. Then we let the other photographer take over.
