SO my grandmother came down with a bout of pneumonia this past week and was rushed to the hospital

Once the Iv and medicine was hooked up she returned to her 86 year old self. I went to see her in the hospital last night before going to my Aunt’s home where family members were still dealing with my cousin’s abrupt passing on Friday night.

I can say I still don’t like hospitals, the unnatural quiet, the coughing coming from patients in their room, the beds, the signs specifying specific instructions (biohazard, “sanitize your hands here,” and the hints of mortality. I have never had to stay in a hospital and hope it’s years before I have to.
