Progressive Pupil is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the purposes of Progressive Pupil must be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
At AFROPUNK FEST 2014, Activism Row will be an interactive, inspirational, and informative experience that features local non-profits that advance racial equality and solve urgent community problems. Co-curated by AFROPUNK, an international cultural movement that emphasizes a DIY approach to leadership and creative expression, and Progressive Pupil, a non-profit based at The New School that “makes Black studies for everybody”, Activism Row shows #ActivismLives in communities of color. Visitors to this exciting installation will have the opportunity to register to vote, find out more about solutions to problems impacting their neighborhoods, and envision themselves as agents of change.
